My mission as WineGirl is to create a unique and individual wine experience for you: my winos and wino-bes. So let's grab a glass and get started.

Too many people believe wine is for old, dodgy men and ostentatious society women. Or they think wine is too expensive or there's too much information to know. Well let me assure you, WineGirl is no pretentious lady with a bloated brain.

First of all, do not fear the wine! Wine is what you make it. If it's a casual dinner drink or a spunky beverage at rockin' soiree, seize the opportunity to sniff it, swish it and even savor it. What could be better than hanging with your closest friends and sippin' on an Aussie Shiraz? (rhymes with spazz) Just imagine you're Crocodile Dundee and say it with me now "shee-raz."

Second, here's a hint on how to buy wine. It's OK to choose your bottle of wine because you like the label! I do! If it's purdy, try it. If it's got a chicken on it and you feel funky, try it. If the bottle has a great shape and you feel shapely, Try It! Grab a bottle and a friend or enjoy some wine time to yourself, but remember: practice makes perfect.
