The Kamari Black Labels
Like Firá on Santorini, Kamari refers to the black sand beach on the main island of Santorini in Greece.
The Firá Labels
ΦHPA or Firá is Greek for fire and refers to an ancient city on the main island of Santorini in Greece. The islands are formed by the rim of an underwater volcano which upon last eruption completely destroyed the small village of ΦHPA, hence the word fire.
PS: They have fabulously unique Greek wines on Santorini, too!
All of our grapes have been sourced from the Kiona Vineyard in the heart of the Red Mountain AVA here in our very own Washington State.
The ΦΗΡΑ Labels
A fabulously successful vintage of Red Mountain Wines from Washington State. The Merlot is a spectacular rendition of a Washington Merlot, fruity and light. The 100% Cab Franc is a full, thick, tannic, musty example of a little known varietal. And the Cab Sav exhibits both fruit and fine tannins finishing smooth chocolatey.
This surprisingly tangy little rosė cools off any spicy-hot salmon BBQ day.
The 2003 ΦΗΡΑ Cab-Merlot blend came from an outstanding block of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in Sonoma County. As always, the shining sun came through for California grapes and produced a stunning example of a Bordeaux style wine. 5% of the blend does owe credit to fine Columbia Valley Merlot grapes doing their duty to soften out the big Californian tannins. A wine like this certainly gives the French a run for their money. WineMaker Magazine Bronze Medal - Bordeaux Style Blend
100% Washington goodness. Two cases of a lightly sweet, very crispy gorgeous white wine. If a WA wine could be a WA apple this would be a Golden Delicious.
Spicy, fun. A Zinergistic Experience
Oh Pinot Noir, Oh Pinot Noir. Hallowed be thy name.
