Angela took on a project to decorate the inside and outside of the new winery with wine barrels. Old, grey, weathered barrels wouldn’t do, of course. She decided to stain the centers of the barrels, not with red, red wine but, with wood stain to match the color of wine spillage. Only in cases of serious mistake does wine spillage stain a barrel so uniformly. They turned out really nice; so nice that we used some to hold up our new tasting room bar and hold down our signpost. There were still enough to decorate the outer grounds too. Nice work, Angela.

That last pic is quite the glamour shot. Nice.
The fake question: Are you guys working too hard?
The real question: Are those barrels suitable for hurling at squat, mustachioed plumbers?
Yes. I think these pretty barrels would look quite good flying through the air.
And No. We’re working hard but not too hard. I have a great vacation planned to The Blending Room in lovely Lake Chelan.
I guess I’ll be working, though. So, Maybe.
