It’s grape time and since harvest is late this year, I thought I’d shoot off one quick post about how excited I am for grapes now. A Perfect Pairing

Each Friday from 4 – 6PM we’re getting together with the Lake Chelan Cheese for our Perfect Pairing Event. Last Friday September 4th, we put our Firá Gewurztraminer, My Derby Wife Merlot, and Kamari Black Label Reserve Malbec to the test. The kids from the Cheese Shop came back at us with stinky Gorgonzola Piccante, pressed Comté, and nutty Emmentaler. It was such fun to share with locals and tourists alike the bounty of two little, neighboring businesses on the North Shore of Lake Chelan in Manson. Release Party Summer 2010

This year’s wine release party was a grand success. It was WineGirl Wines‘ first party in our new location on Lake Chelan, so the celebration was a belated grand opening party too. We had a great turn out from old and new wino friends. We premiered five newly bottled wines and each was paired with a cheese provided by our neighbor, Lake Chelan Cheese.
