Washington Wine Report reviews Kamari wines
Washington Wine Report is the work of Sean Sullivan. Sean reviews wines and provides news about the wine industry in this state. He relieves the community of Washington wine lovers of a burden by taking on the task of sorting out all the many wines from the many Washington winemakers. It’s a serious task, but Sean seems to have a passion for, not only, reporting on Washington’s wines but unraveling the stories behind the wines and wineries. This week’s WineGirls of the Week stopped in July 17th on a celebratory night trip from Wenatchee. Marcella and her husband were celebrating 40 years of wedded bliss and devotion. Congratulations and a toast to many more years! Below (from left to right) you’ll find WineGirls Diana, Marcella, Sandi, and Cindy with husbands in tow. The whole lot celebrated with a gourmet Che-Sal-O plate (cheese, salami, and olives) and bottle of 2007 Walla Walla Valley Kamari Black Label Reserve. This was an extra special visit, too as Diana aka Dirty Diana had previously visited us this summer....

Glad you enjoyed the dance-off at The Blending Room on the North Shore of Lake Chelan in...

Don’t worry guys, you’re all WineGuys as far as we’re concerned. So for our first week, we have Pam & Debbie. A couple girls out and about visiting the wineries all over the Lake Chelan valley. They wandered in last Wednesday and the fun didn’t stop. From the Premier Tasting Flight to a couple of glasses of the Kamari Black Label Reserve, they weathered the dreary and rainy, un-summer-like day on our little...

Yikes, where did I lose May? After a recent trip to the QFC – Issaquah that carries what remains of our 2007 Kamari Black Label Cabernet Franc, I found a label that inspired me enough to add it to the Label of the Month blog series. However, instead of using that label for May and further begging forgiveness that it is no longer May and that my post is delinquent for May, I am going to do a piece on what has also been lost. Somewhere over the Snoqualmie Pass and in between wrapping up my MBA and opening The Blending Room in Lake Chelan, I lost time to write the May LotM post. Fear not,...
