Where’s Wino? Red House.

One of the newest places to find our wines is in Renton, WA at the Red House. They feature fine food and a large selection of beers and wines from local makers and from around the world. They say the atmosphere is “sophisticated and casual” and I would agree. I recently poured our Firás and Kamaris at their weekly Wednesday wine tasting event. Trucking over from Manson was a journey, but worth the trip. The Red House is a cozy place. People were very friendly and in good spirits throughout the night sharing stories and laughs with old and new friends. The wines were well...

Perfect Pairing

We’ve been having so much fun over the last couple of months with our Friday night Perfect Pairing events that we’re certain to host them through the end of October. Join us this Friday, October 15th from 4 – 6PM at The Blending Room to find your wine and cheese match made in heaven. Last Friday October 8th, we selected our Firá Chardonnay, Firá Cabernet Sauvignon, and Kamari Black Label Reserve Malbec to host the evening. Lake Chelan Cheese brought over a fancy aged Champagne Cheddar, a soft-ripened Double Crème Brie, and a classic from those crazy folks in Northern...

WgotW – July 14th

The sun is shining and the boats are floating. This week’s edition netted something from the murky depths of Lake Chelan. (From left to right) WineGuy Jeremy, Boomer, and WineGirl Wench Hayley show us what all the kids are doing. THE SQUID. That’s what happens when the name Kamari rhymes with a certain food. Thanks again for stopping in, guys. You have shown us the light. Just like all the finest wineries of Europe, we will now be offering a free squid pairing* with our portfolio of wines. Glad you enjoyed the dance-off at The Blending Room on the North Shore of Lake Chelan in...

Where’s Wino? Chantanee.

One place in the Greater Seattle area that you can enjoy our Kamari Black Label Reserve is a little place called Chantanee Thai Restaurant in beautiful Bellevue, Wash. This restaurant boasts excellent SE Asian cuisine and its very own craft bar, the Naga Lounge. The main man behind the bartop is Mister Michael McSorley. He has a way with mixing flavors and can explain the history and chemistry behind the drink in front of you and why it tastes just right. We are lucky to have Chantanee featuring our 2007 Kamari Black Label Reserve Red Wine Blend. It’s a bold wine that can stand up to...

Where’s Wino? Marketime.

We are very excited to have our wines in our local grocery, Marketime. We have lived in Fremont, Seattle within blocks of this great market for 7 or 8 years now and enjoy having a good selection of supplies, food and treats so close. They definitely have a great beer and wine selection which I’ve been taking advantage of as long as I’ve been a customer. And now the special bottles of WineGirl Wines are part of that great wine selection. It’s a big wall of wine, but have a close look and you’ll spot 2007 Kamari Cabernet Franc. The 2008 Firá Chardonnay is around the...
