2012 Lake Chelan TraX
Lake Chelan TraX is back and bigger than ever. For two evenings over the three-day President’s weekend, Lake Chelan will be hosting the coolest downhill trick skiing and snowboarding competition this side of the Rockies. The TraX Rail Jam is a ski and snowboard event that takes place on a two-story rail setup. 25 tons of snow will cover the setup, skiers and snowboarders will have the option to grind three different features in a jam format. Cruizin Chelan, the valley’s annual classic car festival starts today with registration here in Manson. We expect to see lots of hot rods, customs, and classics rolling around town this weekend. The All City Cruise begins this evening at 5pm in downtown Manson and finishes at the south end of the lake in Chelan. Tomorrow, from 3pm to close, we’ll be showing off a couple local rods at The Blending Room. Mark Strain of Strain’s Customs will be showing off his black Model T along side a vibrant yellow ’34 Ford.
