The Wines

In 2007, we released the first reserve wines under the Kamari label. These are the wines that we feel are the best of our portfolio and really exhibit our WineMaker Angela’s blending skills. Each unique blend of wine has been meticulously imagined and tested to showcase the best qualities of each individual lot. See the list below to see our selection of Kamari wines.

The Name

Where Firá comes from the name of the town that our WineMaker Angela was studying in when she decided to pursue a career in winemaking, Kamari is the name of the black sand beach on the same island of Santorini in Greece.

Of our WineGirl Wines portfolio of wine labels, the Kamari Black Label was debuted with the release of our 2007 vintage reserve wines. The Kamari Black Label has now seen its 3rd vintage of full-bodied, sustainably grown wines selected from the most superior lots of our wines.

The Image

The Kamari Black Label features little golden birds singing their songs amidst neo-Baroque scroll-work and swirls. The inspiration for this label comes from the sunset and the luxury of lounging along pristine, Grecian blue waters on the silky soft, black volcanic sands of Santorini. That’s what we were trying to convey, the elegance of the Kamari Black Label Reserve wines with the classiness yet chic-modern styling of the label.

The Artist
